Hi John, be aware that the MAF Sensor for most prefacelift 2.8’s is totally different to the facelift ones. (Ie the non TU engine vs the TU one)

The part number should help though

Maybe @spurs fan in a coupe but I don't think he breaks many 2.8's

I messaged Andy but no response I think I'll end up buying a new one, but thought it was worth asking before I did

Only buy a genuine MAF. Bosch for single vanos, Siemens for twin vanos. Anything else is a waste of time. Bremi ones are so bad the thing will hardly run.

I'm afraid the Siemens ones aren't produced anymore, at least they haven't been available for more than a year.

If anyone wants to check if their favorite parts dealer has one left in stock, the part number is 5WK96050Z.

Febi have also discontinued them - theirs were Siemens with the logo ground off.

I'd just buy a couple of used ones from eBay.
